The Dolyna Ukrainian Dancers invite students of all ages to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of Ukrainian culture through their engaging Culture Class. This unique opportunity provides a dynamic and interactive learning experience, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of Ukrainian traditions, music, dance, and folklore.

Led by our instructor Jocelyn Gallant the Culture Class offers a comprehensive exploration of Ukrainian culture. Students embark on a fascinating journey that delves into the history, customs, and symbolism that make Ukrainian heritage so rich and captivating.

Our Culture Class incorporates a wide range of activities designed to immerse students in the broader aspects of Ukrainian culture. From learning traditional Ukrainian songs and exploring musical instruments like the bandura to creating traditional crafts and experiencing the rich flavours of Ukrainian cuisine, participants gain a holistic understanding of the country's cultural tapestry.

The Culture Class nurtures an inclusive and supportive environment, fostering friendships and camaraderie among students as they learn and grow together. Regardless of previous dance experience or age, all participants are encouraged to embrace their individuality and express themselves authentically through the enchanting art of Ukrainian dance and music.

We offer two classes on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm and 5:30-6:30pm
